The MARSAD Lab is actively recruiting researchers, graduate students, engineers, and external collaborators across multiple funded projects in Arabic NLP, digital humanities, and computational social science.
We supervise PhD students across Arabic NLP, digital humanities, computational social science, and AI for social good. Prospective students should contact Dr. Zaghouani directly.
Current opportunities include annotation projects, dataset development, and applied NLP pipelines for Arabic content.
The lab hosts undergraduate researchers from Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q) on semester and summer research projects. Common activities include annotation work, literature reviews, data collection, and toolkit development.
Researchers at other institutions interested in collaborative papers, joint grant proposals, or visiting fellowships should reach out. Long-standing partnerships with CAMeL Lab (NYUAD), CMU-Q, QCRI, HBKU, LDC, MBZUAI, and others.
